Essential Duties:

• Lifeguarding and Greeting: Be the friendly face that welcomes guests and members, providing towels and ensuring their safety.
• Retail Savvy: Know our retail offerings inside out! Handle transactions, secure payments, and assist with bike rentals.
• Set-Up and Breakdown: Help arrange chairs, umbrellas, and pool functions—making our pool area inviting.
• Vigilance: Conduct regular walk-throughs to maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Safety First: Keep a watchful eye on pool areas, ensuring everyone's well-being.
• Fun Activities: Engage guests with daily pool activities.
• Attention to Detail: Inspect and replace any missing or damaged items (like umbrellas and chairs).

• Adhere to and enforce Pool Safety Rules.
• Prioritize guest requests.
• Maintain hotel and pool safety standards.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the Manager.

• Education/Experience: Current Red Cross Lifeguard Certification and High School diploma or GED. Customer service experience preferred.
• Skills: Excellent communication (verbal and written) and knowledge of hotel operations.
• Reasoning Ability: Apply common sense to handle various situations.

• Be outdoors, stand, walk, lift up to 30 lbs, and maintain visual acuity.

• Red Cross Lifeguard Certification including First Aid & CPR.
