This is a hybrid role based out of our Malvern Headquarters
The main purpose of the Sales Operations Specialist role is to streamline and enhance the sales department's productivity for CertainTeed's roofing and siding businesses. This includes four critical functions Strategy, Performance, Technology and Operations, highlighted by tasks such as territory planning, data analysis and reporting, compensation system management, sales process optimization and training.
This job role encompasses several essential functions:
Strategy (25%):
- Contribute to strategic initiatives in Sales and Marketing for Roofing and Siding Groups.
- Collaborate on setting sales objectives and territory planning.
- Evaluate and implement sales technologies to enhance productivity.
- Conduct data analysis for informed decision-making and sales forecasting.
- Identify and implement enhancements in the sales process for efficiency.

Performance (25%):
- Develop processes for lead and opportunity management.
- Assist in designing compensation plans aligned with organizational goals.
- Promote established sales best practices for team performance.
- Monitor KPIs and offer insights for improvement.
Technology (25%):
- Lead CRM system adoption and customization for streamlined sales processes.
- Integrate applications and tools to optimize the sales tech stack.
- Implement communication strategies and automation solutions.
Operations (25%):
- Manage a knowledge base for critical sales information.
- Enhance training content and oversee contract management.
- Gather market intelligence for strategic decision-making.
- Participate in onboarding to ensure new hires' success.
This role involves strategic contributions to sales and marketing, process optimization, technology utilization, and operational management across various aspects of the sales function.
The Sales Operations Specialist role encompasses a high degree of complexity due to its involvement in multiple facets of sales organization. This includes managing intricate CRM systems, overseeing diverse sales processes, and supporting a large and dynamic sales force.
Required Qualifications
What do you bring?
Bachelor's degree required - Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related discipline
5+ years progressive experience - Sale operations, sales, customer service and/or marketing
