Position Description
Job Summary
The Network Analyst's core delivery is around the operating efficiency and security of the local plant network(s);
- ensuring compliance with SGC security and design requirements; maximizing uptime on the local production network, LAN and WAN. Evaluates, recommends, and implements new technologies.
- Is responsible for and manages the installation and replacement of all plant hardware and software, always ensuring network and hardware cyber security is in compliance.
- Is the plant technical leader for information systems and technology; analyzing plant manufacturing network hardware and systems for uptime trends, storage, and other performance metrics; developing and implementing preventative improvement activities.
- Is the plant subject matter expert on networking, servers, PCs, telecommunications, projectors, printers, and hardware and is able to trouble shoot intermediate level issues for the local plant network.
- Provides timely, customer focused, support in all areas of responsibility. Leads all IT related projects to ensure most efficient use of resources and time to commissioning is minimized and is responsible for site level Business Continuity Planning regarding all things cyber related.

This analyst is the plant subject matter expert on issues related to information technology - coordinates with SGC for corporate network and has full ownership/accountability for the local plant manufacturing network - has broad latitude in assessing, making recommendations, and solving local network, hardware, and software issues.
Performs intermediate analysis and creates IT short term and long-term CAPEX plans- utilizing scorecards to measure performance. Communication and networking are essential skills to facilitate tasks required. Prioritization and adherence to requested timelines are key to the success of projects and tasks.
Required Qualifications
- BS Degree in Computer Information Systems (CIS) or Related Field
- Industrial Networks a MUST
- Project Management in a high paced work environment a Must
- PLC Experience preferred
