As we continue to expand our operations in the United States, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager to join our Partnership and Transactions team. The Senior Manager, Partnership and Transaction, will play a pivotal role in driving strategic partnerships and executing transactions with the offshore wind sector in the United States. Leveraging their background in finance and legal, the successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, and managing partnerships, joint ventures, acquisitions and other strategic initiatives to support our growth objectives.

About the role:

  • Develop and execute partnership strategies to support the company's offshore wind development and expansion in the United States.
  • Identify and evaluate potential partnership and investment opportunities, including join ventures, acquisitions and strategic alliances.
  • Lead negotiations and structuring of partnership and legal agreements, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Conduct comprehensive due diligence on potential partners, assessing financial, legal, development and operational aspects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, legal, development and operations to facilitate successful transactions.
  • Manage relationships with existing partners, fostering collaboration and driving value creation.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes impacting offshore wind partnerships and transactions.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on market analysis and partnership opportunities.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Business, Law or related field required. MBA or CFA preferred.
  • 5-7 years minimum experience in finance, investment banking, corporate development, or legal roles, with a focus on renewables.
  • Provide track record of executing complex transactions, including partnerships, joint ventures and acquisitions.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze investment opportunities and financial models.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to identify opportunities, solve problems, and drive results in a dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of the offshore wind industry and understanding of regulatory frameworks preferred.
  • Proficient in word, excel and powerpoint.
  • Ability to travel as needed. This role will be based out of our Boston office, in a hybrid arrangement with 3 days in the office per week.
