The Senior Director of Talent Acquisition is a visionary leader responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy that attracts, engages, and retains top-tier talent to drive success. Reporting directly to the SVP of Human Resources, you will be in a leadership role that oversees all aspects of recruitment, workforce planning, and talent pipeline development. You will partner with senior leadership to align hiring initiatives with business goals, ensuring a competitive edge in talent acquisition and retention.

  • Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies tailored to attract, recruit, and retain high-quality candidates for key roles
  • Collaborate with the C-Suite to set the strategic direction for our executive recruitment endeavors and oversee the recruitment life-cycle for executive-level positions internally and with external search partners, when needed
  • Build and sustain credible relationships with stakeholders and senior executives throughout the organization to align with organizational needs and support effective recruitment efforts
  • Leverage data-driven insights to optimize talent attraction efforts, enhance recruitment processes, and provide clear, actionable reporting to senior leadership
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying trends, sharing best practices, and implementing innovative approaches to talent acquisition
  • Collaborate closely with the HR Leadership team to ensure consistency and integration of HR standards and practices
  • Ensure compliance with legal and company standards throughout all recruitment and onboarding processes

Job Requirements and Experiences:

  • Bachelor's Degree and at least 10 years of talent acquisition and/or HR experience, preferably with experience in the energy industry. At least 5 years of experience leading and managing a talent acquisition team
  • Experience in building and managing high-performing teams, including setting goals, providing feedback, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development
  • Deep understanding of recruitment best practices, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection processes
  • Proven track record of assessing talent and building high-performing teams for growing organizations
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand the company's goals and translate them into actionable talent acquisition plans
  • Experience building and maintaining strong relationships with senior executives, hiring managers, and external partners
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics to identify trends, evaluate the effectiveness of talent acquisition strategies, and make data-driven decisions
  • An action-oriented personality, comfortable working at both strategic and tactical levels, and one who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves to get things done, while remaining a collaborative team player
