Senior Director, IT/OT Integration

Following RWE's acquisition of ConEdison Clean Energy Business in 2023 the combined legal entity RWE Clean Energy was founded. A company-wide program has been initiated in early 2024 to combine the acquired business with RWE's existing US entity and integrate the combined company into RWE's IT and OT frameworks. The program is structured over two cohesive phases to define the tech operating model of RWE Clean Energy and deliver on its implementation. The first phase concluded successfully in May 2024 and the second phase has been kicked off accordingly.

In your role as a Senior Director, IT/OT Integration, you will be responsible to deliver on a large scale tech post-merger integration program against a challenging timeline and a multi-million USD budget. Your role will focus on the implementation work from a technological, organizational and financial standpoint. The foreseen timeline for IT-related integration activities is EOY 2024, whereas OT integration and backend clean-up activities will spill into 2025.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to deliver RWE Clean Energy's IT/OT Integration in time, budget and quality
  • Oversight over sub-projects (IT Infrastructure, Non-SAP Applications, OT Security, OT) as well as financial controlling and change management
  • Design your governance structure to enable your program organization delivering against a challenging deadline and ensure overall program success
  • You will functionally lead a global program organization, consisting of internal RWE experts and external partners
  • Multi-million USD budget responsibility
  • Manage and syndicate program related decision across senior executives C-level stakeholders across RWE group
  • Responsibility to deliver accurate program risk management as well as associated mitigation measures to enable integration success
  • Syndicate program approaches and deliverables with relevant compliance bodies (e.g. Data Protection, Cyber Security, Internal Audit)
  • Ensure relevant compliance measures are adhered to and are integral to your program approach and leadership (e.g. NERC CIP, NIST)

Qualifications:

  • University/college degree in Economics, Computer Science or related field of studies
  • Proven track record in successfully leading global projects/programs and teams
  • A minimum10 years of relevant experience, ideally in utilities / clean tech companies
  • Proven track record in leading IT/OT projects/programs as well as digital transformation
  • Relevant experience in tech post-merger integrations
  • Excellent communication and people management skills, including the ability to facilitate controversial and critical discussions across senior executives in a global corporation
  • Background in consulting is an advantage but not a must

Pay range: The annual base salary range for this position in New York is $153,000- $229,,000 . The listed salary range represents our good faith estimate for this position and represents the range for new hire salaries across all U.S locations. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. RWE considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's education & work experience, training & certifications, and key skills as well as market and business considerations at the time of the offer.
