Working Leader - MCL -2nd Shift (Onsite)

What You Will Do

• Set up and operate equipment, lend expertise to resolving process problems, and perform periodic preventive maintenance checks.
• This is a 2nd shift weekday position (Mon-Thur 4pm-2:30am)
• Set up and operate process equipment in an assigned area.
• Set up and operate basic machine tools to repair, make minor alterations and make the less complicated tooling.
• Read and understand blueprints and work from written and verbal instructions.
• Perform basic shop mathematics and use basic measurement instruments.
• Assist in the development of other team members.
• Acts as a team lead or assistant to the supervisor to achieve results for job area
• Delegates tasks to other team members and reviews the work product of others
• Perform any aspect of work in assigned area to improve personal development.
• Perform unrelated duties as may be necessary to support the needs of the facility.
• Perform job in compliance with all environmental, health, and safety rules, procedures and policies.
• Perform all tasks at the highest level of safety awareness

Qualifications You Must Have

• HS Diploma or GED
• 6 years of related experience in manufacturing / machining
• Requires demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude along with the ability to follow work instructions while complying with all environmental, health, and safety requirements.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer

• 1 year or more of leadership experience is a plus, especially if the experience is within in a manufacturing setting
• Experience within aviation or aerospace manufacturing
