Raytheon Professional Services (RPS), located in Tucson, AZ is looking for a full-time, hourly Training Administrator to support learning programs and events. The person who fills this position is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of all logistics support for learning events supported by RPS. The ideal candidate for this position will build rapport with team members and customers quickly and easily, be flexible/adapt to changing business needs, and possess excellent business communication skills. Additionally, a successful candidate will possess exemplary attention to detail, organizational and time management skills. This position may include some after-hours/weekend scheduling and/or travel within the United States.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Discuss and obtain event requirements with internal and external customers and provide feedback and suggestions related to best practices
- Provide end-to-end logistical support for training events for local and remote locations
- Arrange and schedule training rooms, instructors, catering, print reproduction, preparation and/or ordering of other materials, and required equipment
- Support and moderation of classes delivered virtually
- Communicate with students, instructors, suppliers, and event sponsors via email, phone, virtual meetings, and face-to-face meetings
- Extensive use of Learning Management System (LMS) to schedule courses/classes, manage and update various types of enrollment processes and completions, and generate reports
- Daily use of a Workflow Management System to track and manage class/program information, requirements and completion of tasks associated with event support
- Coordinate, update, and retrieve content from SharePoint sites and other online repositories
- Promptly mitigate known and unexpected issues that could impact a timely and successful execution of a training event/program
- Provide facilitation support during live and remotely delivered classes (i.e. assist with class exercises/interactions, run virtual (Skype) meetings for remote attendees.
- Provide one-on-one or small group training and systems troubleshooting as required for more complex programs involving extensive pre-work or equipment setup
- Create training documentation updates (i.e. embedding survey questions into Training PowerPoint slides, creating step by step instructions for virtual class participants)
- Create event registration websites using Cvent
- Timely and accurate collection and completion of all billing information for classes and programs
- Provide support for the daily facilities and operations needs of the Learning Center as needed and time allows.
- Identify opportunities for account growth
- Overtime and work on weekends/evenings may be required for class set up/tear down and other event support
- May require travel up to 10% to Raytheon locations outside of the Tucson area
- Other Job duties may be assigned
Required Skills:
- Four years' experience in a customer facing environment, contributing to the success of a program(s) and overall client retention
- Able to follow defined processes, work independently or as a team with minimal oversight
- Experience working in a continuous improvement environment- ability to identify potential issues, present them to management offering potential solutions to assist in mitigating risks and improve service delivery
- Must be proficient with all MS Office Suite applications and other standard office applications (minimally, intermediate using Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint and Adobe Pro)
- Must possess excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Must possess excellent written and verbal business communication skills
- Experience running reports to provide status updates to customers (set correct parameters, analyze the data for accuracy/issues, summarize data and format the report output for easy review)
- Ability to prioritize and self-manage work assignments in order to meet project deadlines, and cost expectations
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds is an essential function of this job
Desired Skills:
- Previous experience planning events (ideally training events) for internal and/or external customers
- Experience with business Learning Management Systems
- Ability to identify areas for continuous improvement in the work environment and processes
- Familiar with Cvent or similar event management tool
- Experience training customers to use applications or tools, and/or other facilitation experience
Required Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent required, Associate's degree or higher preferred
- Important to Note:
- This position requires the successful candidate to report to the Tucson, Arizona office on a daily basis; relocation assistance is not available for this position.
