Operates production equipment, responsible for manufacturing and assembly of commercial aerospace components. Follows blueprints, guidelines, and/or diagrams to ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are met. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish work. Responsible for test acceptance processes in the manufacture of Collins products. This includes responsibility for specific process or environmental areas.
What You Will Do:
- Perform technical tasks based on detailed written or verbal instructions.
- Utilize limited variety of microelectronic, electronic, optical, electro-optical, mechanical, or electromechanical equipment, including computers and lasers.
- Ability to read schematics.
- Perform entry level troubleshooting, calibration or modification of hardware, fixtures, and software.
- Work with Engineers to analyze and resolve manufacturing test problems.
- Follow established test procedures and processes to support sub-assembly and top-level testing.
- Manage work flow throughout area to achieve team goals.
- Evaluate and troubleshoot non-conformances.
- Fabricate hardware, equipment, tools or prototypes from drawings or sketches.
- Provide accurate recording of time changes, test data, parts usage, etc.
- This requires limited data interpretation.
- Utilize multiple databases to create/use necessary information to provide information for decision making requiring limited judgment.

Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a HS Diploma or GED. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, typically 2 years of relevant experience is required.
- U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Ability to estimate labor, material, and manufacturing costs for the building and repair of product or process enhancement.
- Ability to identify and correct minor process, material, design, or equipment.
- Ability to perform task prioritization.
- Production assembly experience preferred.
- Proficiency in the use of network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, frequency counters, and power measurement equipment.
