Nightwing is seeking an SPE Technical Solutions Intern with a combination of strong technical, creative, and communication skills to support ongoing programs at our Dulles, Virginia location. Candidates must be professional, self-starters, possess a positive attitude, and work well within a diverse business environment providing technical solutions and services to meet challenging customer requirements.

This position is an onsite role.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
• Assist in creating, presenting and documenting technical solutions
• Support of multidisciplinary engineering and senior Program Managers activities on various projects within SPE
• Direct support to daily business solutions activities
• Create or improve customer or capability focused presentations
• General market research to improve company effectiveness

Basic Qualifications:
• Must be enrolled in a degree program related to Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems discipline with an expected graduation date by start of internship.
• GPA of 3.0+ in a 4.0 grade scale
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
• Background check and drug screen required (every external new hire in the U.S.) Drug screen only performed on re-hires who have been gone for more than 1 year.

• Maintain excellent personal organization to enable effective multi-tasking, strong attention to detail and simultaneous management of projects at different development stages.

• Ability to work independently.
• A passion to learn something new every day and to stay up to date with developments in your field
• Adept at independent problem-solving and comfortable with a general approach of taking initiative to find and develop solutions.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• A strong communicator with others, both written and verbal.
• Attention to detail: must pay strong attention to detail to be able to keep information accurate and organized while utilizing skills and knowledge to quickly learn about the project.

The salary range for this role is - . The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
