Brief Job/Department Description

Team leader Facilities Custodial Supervisor will be responsible for daily oversight of custodial services and custodial personnel. Employees in this job class perform a variety of functions to assure facilities are clean and free of safety hazards.

What you will do:

The incumbent plans, organizes, assigns and assists custodians engaged in sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, spotting and waxing floors, vacuuming rugs and carpets, cleaning, dusting and polishing furniture, emptying and cleaning of waste receptacles, spotting walls, cleaning of stairwells, hallways, restrooms, offices and lobbies, cleaning, replacing operating scrubbers and buffers and other equipment in the Raytheon Missile Systems. All work to be accomplished in accordance with guidelines Raytheon Building and Property Management.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates, directs, schedules custodial staff and contracted personnel in performing custodial services.
  • Maintains professional relationship with site customers, suppliers, and employees.
  • Conducts facility walks, quality control inspections, safety audits and provides feedback to personnel and customers as appropriate.
  • Supervises staff; ensures a competent, motivated staff through hiring, training, counseling, and reviewing performance.
  • Schedules and prioritizes tasks, and ensures adherence to procedures, regulations and guidelines while minimizing errors and safety risks.
  • Reviews employee time cards for accuracy verifies hours worked and processes PTO according to payroll procedures.
  • Monitors absences, sick and vacation days of personnel and to ensure departmental coverage and customer satisfaction.
  • Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications you must have

  • This job requires at least 2 years of experience in Facilities maintenance to include knowledge of custodial practices, custodial equipment, customer service techniques, safety rules, regulations and procedures
  • This role typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Facilities, Engineering, business administration or related field. In the absence of a degree 6 or more years of relevant experience and/or combination of education, applicable relevant experience and/or certifications may be considered.
  • Knowledge of methods, materials, chemicals, disinfectants, and equipment used in cleaning offices and buildings, sanitation and safety measures used in the operating, cleaning, and care of equipment and work areas, use of purchase orders for janitorial supplies and equipment
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a managerial/supervisory/leadership role and a valid driver's license is required for this role.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Bilingual (Spanish)
  • Ability to work occasional overtime and Saturday and Sunday hours as business needs require
  • Demonstrated experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and Computer literate including knowledge of systems, applications, and processes such as (SAP/PRISM)
  • Certified qualified applicator licensed by the office of pest management
  • Experience working with customers and contract execution
  • Prior experience working independently as well as in a team as well as experience in supply ordering and purchase order management with related purchase requisitions

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
