Collins Aerospace is currently in search of a Systems Engineering Manager and Site Lead to join our Field Engineering team as a Site Lead for the Mission Systems Services Field Engineering organization. In this role you will provide integration and test, sustainment, and operational support for the United States Air Force Distributive Common Ground System (DCGS) Program located at DGS-X Langley AFB, Hampton VA.

What You Will Do
- Serve as the site's Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all Mission Applications running on the Weapon System.
- Directly coordinate with Site Leadership to ensure all aspects of the Mission Application Integration process are followed and monitored to ensure efficient transition to the Production environment.
- Participate in integration and test activities by working closely with the customer, RTX in-plant engineering and other Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) when new capabilities are fielded.
- Integrate updated software and hardware.
- Create teamwork schedules, contribute to reporting requirements, and provide inputs to financial forecasts.
- Ensure team remains focused and on task while supporting the customer's mission and initiatives.
- Ensure team training requirements (customer and company) are kept up to date and completed ahead of schedule.
- Provide annual team performance evaluations.
- Work with a diverse team of users, analysts, and other contractor personnel, and customers.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Comprehensive knowledge of Solaris.
- LINUX and Windows administration
- Excellent teamwork skills interacting productively with end users, analysts, other internal personnel, and customers in a diverse team setting.
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI Security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Administration of Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) or Government Off the Shelf (GOTS) software solutions used for GEOINT or SIGINT analysis (Socet GXP, GXP Xplorer, Unicorn, mIRC chat, Multi-INT Analysis and Archive System (MAAS), etc.) or other OEM software (APS, GSEG, CICS, etc.)
- Sybase, Oracle, MySQL or MongoDB database system administration
- Experience administering VMware (containers, storage, and resources) and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, OpenStack, Docker, etc.)
- Familiar with the concepts of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and frameworks (ex. Distributed Data Framework (DDF))
- Knowledge of web applications and their development (Apache, APS, NET, NodeJS, etc.) and Experience with software development methods (shell scripts, JavaScript, Python, PHP, C/C++, C#, Java, XML, HTML, etc.)

Referral Bonus Eligible
The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
