Nightwing is supporting a U.S. Government customer on a large mission critical development and sustainment program to design, build, deliver, and operate a network operations environment; including introducing new cyber capabilities to address emerging threats. Nightwing is seeking a SAFe Proxy Product Owner (Cloud) to support the design, development, and deployment of advanced cybersecurity capabilities.

Responsibilities Include:

Leading and collaborating within an Agile Scrum team as an Agile Release Train (ART) lead responsible for developing advanced, leading-edge, cloud-oriented automation and orchestration architectures that provide rigorous, self-validating cybersecurity capabilities to a major U.S. Government customer

Leading and facilitating team related Agile events (PI Planning, Release Governance, Stand-Ups, Sprint Planning, etc.) while maintaining all artifacts (Backlogs, Decisions, Blockers, etc.)

Eliminating impediments and actively addressing issues so that the team can remain focused on achieving the objectives of the Program Increment (PI)

Escalating as needed when blocking issues are beyond the team's authority or require support from other teams

Fostering a collaborative team environment through coaching & leading appropriately

Leading and facilitating preparation & readiness for ART events (e.g., PI Planning, System Demos, Inspect & Adapt, etc.)

Review high quality technical documentation, including user guides, test plans, and contract deliverable items and supporting product training

Leading Agile Scrum teams in the system design and implementation of advanced, cloud-oriented autonomous cybersecurity capabilities

Interfacing directly with customers, stakeholders, and end-users regarding capability architectures, requirements, use cases, and stories to derive, develop and decompose next-cycle updates and specifications.

Full lifecycle oversight of requirements driven automation architecture

Required Skills:

U.S. Citizenship

Active Secret (S) clearance. Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance

Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability

Proven leadership skills and meaningful experience successfully leading infrastructure as code (IAC) projects

Experience communicating with program leadership

Independently driven, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

8+ years of professional experience in a technology related field

5+ years direct experience in either complex autonomous package builds, autonomous api driven backends, infrastructure automation and orchestration, event driven micro-service architectures, orchestrated infrastructure automation, or configuration driven deployments

2+ years of experience in either AWS, MS Azure or GCP

Strong working knowledge of either multi-environment autonomous orchestration, automation tooling, pipeline deployments, or software application integration

Desired Skills:

Experience leading teams and projects at either the tech lead or product owner level

Familiarity with Jenkins, Artifactory, Jira, Git, Ansible, Chef, AWS lambda, terraform or cloud native tools like CloudFormation

Programming experience (Java, Javascript, .Net, Python, or Ruby)

Familiarity with using, updating, and programmatically manipulating Linux and Windows

Experience with NTP, DNS, Networking, LDAP, or Software repositories

Experience with branching and release strategies, CI/CD Pipelines,

AWS cloud technology knowledge and implementation experience

Experience designing and implementing event driven microservice architectures

Experience in technical oversight of individuals and projects

Experience working in DevOps and/or DevSecOps environments

Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) knowledge and experience

Experience with agile tools, including Jira and Jira Align

Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical field. Two years of related work experience may be substituted for each year of degree level education.

Desired Certifications:

DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II

Certifications related to Agile development and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) such as Scrum Master, Product Owner, SAFe Agilist (SA), SAFe Practitioner (SP) or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC)

The salary range for this role is 105,000 USD - 221,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
