What You Will Do:

• Server/workstation organization and maintenance.
• Software maintenance
• Network support
• Inventory and government property tracking.
• Secure lab responsibilities such as, the architecture, implementation, and regular maintenance of closed labs that adhere to NIST and RMF requirements.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience with Mac and PC hardware: laptops, desktops and servers.

• U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Knowledge of and/or familiarity with NIST 800-53 standards and the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
• Knowledge of networking essentials and Cisco Network Appliances, including routers, Layer 2 and 3 switches, and ASA Firewall/VPN devices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active DoD security clearance
• Current DoD-approved 8570 baseline certifications (e.g., Sec+, CCNA Security, SSCP)
• Familiarity with administering tools such as Atlassian products, Splunk, McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator, WSUS, Ansible/Chef/Puppet, etc.
• Knowledge of Redhat Identity manager, FreeIPA, OpenLDAP, Samba, NFS, DNS, and other Linux domain services.
• Experience with data storage, NAS, and SAN technologies and solutions
• Experience using VMWare vCenter, vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, and Red Hat Virtualization.

Work Location:

This is an on-site role. Eligible candidates must reside or relocate within commuting distance of Middletown, RI. Relocation assistance is given to eligible candidates.

Onsite: Employees who are working in onsite roles will work regularly onsite.

The salary range for this role is 55,000 USD - 107,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
