The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team:

Enterprise Services - Procurement Services (ES-PS) is hiring a Supply Chain Specialist. The Supplier Master Data team is an integral part of RTX's supply chain operations and is responsible for managing all data elements of RTX's suppliers in the Enterprise Supplier Database and financial systems. The team executes all requests involving supplier setups and updates. The activities of this team are critical to the execution of the Enterprise Services strategy to align end-to-end processes. ES-PS is a high volume, fast-paced, team-oriented, metric driven environment focused on individual and team performance with continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate must be able to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a challenging, deadline driven environment. The selected individual must also demonstrate the ability to take ownership and be accountable through individual actions and teamwork, continually working toward the goal of improving processes and efficiency. This position requires building positive relationships with our internal and external customers, including RTX's supply base.

What You Will Do

  • Manage vendor additions in RTX's enterprise database - including verifying information on back-up documentation and approvals
  • Maintain and update vendor master information based on request data
  • Conduct appropriate screenings and validation as required by request.
  • Understand Company Wide agreements and coordinate updates with agreement managers
  • Communicate critical information to stakeholders regarding supplier status such as bankruptcy and debarment.
  • Compile and send monthly reports to stakeholders regarding vendor activity
  • System administration for Supply Master Data tools - coordinate setup and access for users
  • Auditing - report of quality data & error collection correction
  • Use of analytical skills to identify trends and training opportunities
  • Understand International business practices and country specific requirements- special attention to detail and coordination of backup in foreign languages
  • Agreement loading in SRM system including loading new agreements and updates to existing agreements.
  • Support data conversion and new system deployments
  • Assist with process improvement projects and other special projects

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Associates degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience with 2 or more years in an administrative role within a corporate environment
  • 2+ years of experience using Microsoft Office tools particularly Excel creating and working with pivot tables and 'Lookup' functions.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems
  • Self-starter, excellent problem solving, communication and customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain strong business relationships. Strong attention to detail with the ability to stay organized.
  • Strong team player that can collaborate with team members to achieve goals and the ability to work independently and with team to develop solutions for complex problems that will gain desired outcomes.
  • Ability to multitask and demonstrate flexibility to easily move between tasks and able to work under pressure in a fast paced, dynamic environment, while maintaining or exceeding the Service Level Agreement
  • Ability to work overtime as required

This is a hybrid role, eligible candidates must reside within commuting distance of Richardson, TX, Tucson, AZ, or Andover, MA.

Minimum Program Qualifications:

The salary range for this role is 44,000 USD - 102,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
