Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session, that will run January-August (including the Spring semester; it is expected students will take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity).

What You Will Do:

  • Material Forecasting & Planning: Develop and manage material forecasts and production schedules to ensure timely availability of materials for production. Utilize data analysis and historical trends to make informed decisions and adjustments.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and control inventory levels to optimize stock and minimize excess or obsolete materials. Implement and maintain inventory management systems and procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Supplier Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials. Address any issues related to supply chain disruptions, quality concerns, or lead time changes.
  • Production Support: Work closely with manufacturing and engineering teams to understand production requirements and adjust material plans accordingly. Provide support to resolve any material-related issues that may arise during production.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in materials planning and inventory management. Contribute to the development of strategies to enhance overall efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze material usage data and generate reports to track performance metrics, inventory levels, and forecast accuracy. Use insights to drive decision-making and process improvements.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Inclination for Supply Chain, Scheduling, and/or Materials Planning processes.
  • Working experience with Microsoft Office programs, in particular excel and reporting tools, such as PowerBI/Tableau.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
