Raytheon's Operations and Supply Chain organization is seeking a Supplier Engineer. This role is involved in all aspects of planning and executing the production of a wide range of weapon systems, from tactical missiles to strategic defense products. The supplier engineer is responsible for providing technical knowledge & process capability expertise to improve supplier performance. You will be involved in all phases of product life cycles, beginning with proposal development, new product development, advanced manufacturing initiatives and continuing through production implementation.

This position is an onsite role and can be located in any of the following locations: Andover MA, Tucson AZ, Forest MS, McKinney TX, Tewksbury MA, Marlborough MA, El Segundo CA or Fullerton CA
What You Will Do
- Ensure technical data packages are complete and accurate and that the supplier technical performance meets the objectives of quality, cost and schedule.
- Ensure Raytheon design requirements are met to improve manufacturing and quality capabilities of suppliers.
- Initiate continuous and measurable design and process improvement of supplier hardware for affordability.
- Communicate and translate technical data packages to suppliers.
- Conduct supplier engagements related to capability, capacity, opportunity and risk.
- Perform technical evaluations in support of cost and price analysis.
- Manage supplier requests for product and process changes.
- Manage product non-conformances and drive root cause and corrective action.
- Prioritize and execute improvement opportunities.
- Communicate the technical health of our suppliers to stakeholders.
- Selected candidate will be needed to travel. (Travel domestically up to 25%)
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor's in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) and a minimum of 2 years of prior engineering experience
- Experience in at least one of the following: mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, systems engineering, manufacturing & quality systems or technical supplier management
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Value
- Master's Degree in one of the following Majors: Business Administration, Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing/Process/Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science
- Active Secret Clearance
- Experience with design and development of products that fall within the electrical or mechanical engineering discipline
- Experience performing supplier assessment
- Familiarity of Export/Import regulation

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
