The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team:

The Enterprise Application Services team is looking for a candidate as an Application Engineering Transformation (ATE) Intern. In this role the candidate will gain experience with managing a company wide application transformation program and supporting Cyber Security initiatives. The candidate will partner with various Enterprise teams in orchestrating, designing and delivering a robust solution to meet business goals.

What You Will do

  • Learn and assist with implementing top-tier automation techniques and tooling within the RTX Application Modernization program, hosted in Azure or AWS public cloud using modern CI/CD pipelines and workflows.
  • Determine potential applications candidates that are technically compatible with the Application Modernization current patterns and frameworks.
  • Work closely with digital team members and cross-functional teams to align on company-wide OneRTX objectives such as Enterprise asset management, Cyber remediation, etc.
  • Efficiently collect information from multiple sources for reporting purposes and automate data retrieval using best practices to reduce manual effort and improve overall process.
  • Perform technical assessments to identify vulnerabilities and drive remediation in collaborating with various application SME to reduce internal and external applications risk posture.
  • Continuously document to help streamline process leveraging best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the project.

Qualifications You May Have

  • Candidates must be currently pursuing a college degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related Technology discipline. Please upload unofficial transcript with your application.
  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Knowledge of Agile methodology
  • Exposure to project management and cybersecurity

This position is in Farmington, CT and is a hybrid role.
Please consider the following role type definition as you apply for this role:
Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
