Our Tucson, AZ facility has an opening for a Staff Tech, Security Specialist. In order to be successful in this position you will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work well with customers at all levels. You will be effective at organizing and prioritizing customer/management requests within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Your strong communications skills , and being a self-starter and essential to your success as well as you will be responsible for working with a limited level of supervision and guidance. Your curiosity and commitment to continuous learning and professional development are expected as well.

What You Will Do
- Requests security paperwork from candidates and ensures the paperwork is accurate and complete.
- Reviews and processes requests for personnel clearances for access to classified programs.
- Upload Personnel Security Questionnaires (PSQ) from candidates to eSecurity database.
- Submit Personnel Security Clearance Justification on required candidates. Implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations. May participate in security compliance inspections as needed.
- Protects employee's personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act and other applicable Government regulations.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a High School Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued SECRET security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Previous personnel security experience working in government systems, such as DISS will be beneficial in this roles

The salary range for this role is 44,000 USD - 102,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
