What You Will Do:
- Administer and maintain systems support for software, hardware and servers: test, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve all problems
- Provide timely technical support for users and work with them to solve existing problems
- Apply hardening security settings
- Active Directory Object Management (ie. User, computer, groups)
- Manage NTFS and share permissions
- Identify, analyze and remediate technical challenges
- Administer backups and diagnose backup errors
- Partner with application/project/security teams and vendors to plan, design, and implement new IT infrastructure
- Create and maintains technical and detailed design documentation

Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- 2+ year experience in support of Microsoft Windows desktops (e.g. Windows 7, Windows10, and Windows 11)
- Experience deploying Windows workstations and migrating end-user data
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Active Top Secret security clearance
- Bitlocker support
- Windows command line and related utilities
- Experience with cloning techniques
- Experience with operating system concepts and implementations
- Microsoft Windows Active Directory Services administration and support (e.g. user and computer objects administration, Group Policy)
- Experience with network services as related to Microsoft Windows environment (e.g. DC, DNS, DHCP, etc)
- Experience with supporting desktop / workstation hardware
- Experience with an IT incident/service request system
- VMWare VSphere (ESXi, vCenter, etc)
- Automation vis scripting
- Experience with the following Microsoft technologies: MDT/MECM and WSUS
- Windows desktops (Windows 7, 10, 11)
- Experience with engineering applications such as MatLab, Green Hills products, Doors, and Subversion
- CompTIA Security+ certification or other industry-recognized certifications relevant to a Windows System Administrator

The salary range for this role is 72,000 USD - 144,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
