The Raytheon Industry 4.0 team is seeking an experienced Sr Software Manager. The candidate is responsible for leading the adoption, expansion and implementation of I4.0 technologies within Raytheon factories. This includes developing and executing a strategic plan, leading a team of software engineers, and working with stakeholders & Factory Leaders to ensure the successful implementation of these technologies.

What You Will Do
- Responsible for the department's digital Products and Services driving common automated solutions, aligned to the CORE process matrix, maximizing affordability and speed to market across sectors.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. Ensure all software development follows standard defined processes for product's lifecycle.
- Assign and manage team resources (people, budget, equipment) effectively. Effectively management team capacity and workload. Prioritize tasks and projects.
- Build, develop, and mentor high-performing engineering teams. Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture. Manage team dynamics and resolve conflicts.
- Expected to Travel 15% of the time.
What You Will Learn
- Implement common solutions across the business using Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders, including customers, executives, and development teams.
- Development of capital investment plans and appropriations requests (ARs)
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a bachelor's in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred)
- 8+ years relevant professional experience, with at least 4 years of experience with Industry 4.0 and Smart Factory technologies
- Experience with software development and deployment
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience with Product management tools (Jira, DevOps, etc.)
- Experience with transition to production of software products, automation systems or similar
- Demonstrated experience in developing software engineers
- Professional experience in a manufacturing environment, with preference for Aerospace and Defense factories with digital systems.
- Familiarity with I4.0 and Smart Factory principles, technologies and/or techniques
- Demonstrated mentoring experience
- Experience with Ignition, or SQL
- Understanding of SCADA systems, MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), and/or IIoT
- Experience with cyber and/or cyber-physical systems security protocols.
- Experience with PLCs and/or Transactional Automation (use of API, XML)
- Demonstrated ability to develop business cases and Return on Investment analyses
- Proven leadership, problem solving and team building skills

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
