Raytheon's SI&T is seeking a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer who will support Radar technology including hardware for radars at our Woburn, MA location. You will lead engineering activities that include radar operations planning and preparation for test events. You will work independently in collaboration with the program leads and provide oversight to project cost, schedule and technical performance.

What You Will Do
- Lead radar mission operations planning, execution, and analysis
- Partner with site engineers to resolve radar technical issues
- Work closely with Chief Engineer and Technical leads to review technical processes, procedures, and deliverables
- Execute radar site installation planning, execution, analysis, and reporting
- Prepare, review and execute detailed radar system test procedures
- Present and explain detailed radar data performance analysis results to leadership and customers
- Occasional CONUS and/or OCONUS travel to support integration and test activities.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience in Systems Engineering, System Integration, and/or Verification and Validation.
- Experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, Linux, and/or other programming language
- Experience in technical reports, radar data and/or briefing internal/external stakeholders
- Active and transferable US Government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. US Citizenship is required, as only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Master's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or related technical discipline
- Systems Engineering experience including test, integration, or verification and validation of Early Warning Radars or other Missile Defense System (MDS) sensors, understanding of radar signal and data processing, and working level experience with requirements traceability, requirements management, or documentation of IV&V products within DOORS
- Experience with EVMS (Earned Value Management System) or similar budget tracking system
- Skilled with conducting System Requirements Reviews (SRRs) and Critical Design Reviews (CDRs)
- Responsible for executing technical strategies including developing requirements and/or maintaining technical documentation
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams of systems engineering professionals integrating radar hardware and software
- Current/Active DoD security clearance or SSBI

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
