What You Will Do
- Troubleshoot hardware and process issues down to Circuit Card Assembly (CCA)/Module and component levels to include analog/digital/radio frequency (RF)/power circuitry and interfaces
- Troubleshooting at the system level to include 3-phase AC and high voltage/ high power DC interfaces.
- Resolve issues on production lines and with Suppliers - travel may be required.
- Failure analysis / root cause determination and corrective action implementation
- Partnering in the development of test equipment and establishment of test requirements and procedures
- Leadership of root cause and corrective action investigations and presentation of findings to management and customers.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a bachelor's degree (typically in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience OR an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience OR In absence of a degree, 15 years of relevant experience is required
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. Top Secret Clearance is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Direct 3-phase 208/480 VAC experience with both wye and delta connected loads.
- High voltage DC experience with voltages up to 500 VDC.
- CCA level DC power design and layout experience.
- MIL-STD-704 aircraft power systems.
- EMI design and EMI testing.
- Experience with simulation tools (e.g., LT Spice or equivalent).
- Supporting Production and Test of electrical systems and sub-systems in a manufacturing environment.
- Troubleshooting and performing failure analysis of circuits with demonstrated knowledge of associated measurement equipment.
- Experience with the interpretation of Acceptance Test Requirements.
- Experience with leading and mentoring a team of engineers from the P1 to P4 job grades.
- Ability to develop training sessions and provide on the job training as well as provide key knowledge transfer training.

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
