Power & Controls Engineering is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner (individual contributor) to join our team to support the Electric Power Systems (EPS) business. As a key member of our EPS & PCE leadership group, you'll collaborate with senior-level Engineering leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives. Your ability to execute projects, exercise sound judgment, and work collaboratively will be critical in this role.

This role will be worked Hybrid to Rockford, IL. 3+ days a week onsite pending business needs.

  • Grow our EPS business and engineering team as we expand to meet the needs of major multi-year new programs that will be visible on major airline platforms.
  • Work in a fast paced environment supporting the Rockford, IL site along with international engineering leaders.
  • Travel up to 10% (domestic and international)

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience
  • Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62
  • Prior HRBP experience

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Position is located in Rockford, IL; candidate must be local to the preferred location or willing to relocate
  • Experience in driving results through others; broad management and leadership knowledge to lead project teams.
  • Business acumen and understanding of the HR strategic partnership in driving business results
  • Change management skills and the ability to successfully partner with managers to drive change across the organization.
  • Experience working with all levels of the organization and maintain high levels of confidentiality and discretion
  • Project management skills such as organization and time management
  • Experience using Microsoft applications, including Excel and PowerPoint to analyze and present data
  • Knowledge of applicable state and federal employment, labor and compliance requirements

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
