Drive Excellence in Global Trade Compliance at Collins Aerospace!

This position has primary responsibility for Global Trade Digital Technology (DT) management for the Interior Systems strategic business unit. This individual will establish and maintain a close working relationship with the respective business unit representatives globally to provide strategic Global Trade guidance in support of business objectives/programs, ensuring compliance requirements are addressed at the earliest stages of all DT projects. Additionally, the individual will interact with Digital Technology Business Relationship Managers (BRMs) and Global Trade Directors to ensure alignment on DT projects and initiatives.

What You Will Do:

  • Extensive knowledge and ability to apply specialized area of trade compliance (EAR/ITAR & non-US regulations) to DT systems architecture
  • Responsible for successful integration of GT compliance requirements into DT systems
  • Proactive change management and communications with the business
  • Global Trade DT Council representative for the Interiors strategic business unit
  • Lead multi-functional teams in a matrix environment to implement GT DT procedures
  • Serve as the Project Manager for new Global Trade DT projects, including scope, schedule, and cost management
  • Provide support, administration, and approval for Global Trade workflows and tools including but not limited to TEXPORT, SAP/ERP Systems, GTS, and SharePoint
  • Global Trade DT assessment leadership, form completions, storage, and logging
  • Support investigations & disclosure related to DT matters
  • Work with other Global Trade leaders to identify automation opportunities and lead the development of tools to allow work to be completed more efficiently
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by leadership
  • Travel 5-10%; US and international

What You Will Learn:

  • Gain experience with Aerospace Interiors products used on both commercial and military aircraft
  • Exposure to various Engineering and design processes and tools, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems
  • Develop an understanding of non-US Export and Import regulations for regimes in Europe, Asia, and the Americas.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience
  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.6
  • 3+ Experience in a Global Trade function
  • Experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Program Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • This role will be worked hybrid to Medley, FL; candidate must be local to the preferred location or relocate on their own. Relocation is not supported for this role.
  • Aerospace industry experience
  • Experience with SAP Global Trade Systems (GTS) module
  • Experience with trade compliance processes such as classifications, authorizations, compliant transfers of technical data, and record-keeping.
  • Experience in DT systems architecture design, systems and tool management, and daily DT support to the business
  • Skilled in leadership, program/project management, and change management

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
