Job Summary

Raytheon is seeking a Sr Mgr, Material Program Manager (MPM) who is a strong leader with demonstrated project management skills who will be directly accountable for ensuring overall supplier performance. You must be a self-starter, capable of developing and achieving organizational and program objectives, and must be able to successfully interface with all levels of internal and external management.

You will be responsible for developing and executing Supply Chain strategies and plans for a team of MPMs focused on program execution. This position requires an individual who will be able to exert influence and influence the overall objectives and long-range goals of the program and the program IPT team. The ideal candidate will have financial, contracting, proposal development and negotiating experience and have held project management responsibilities including, but not limited to risk and opportunity management, EVMS CAM experience, briefing in customer forums, and the ability to work in a cross-functional teams.

This position is an onsite role.

What You Will Do:

  • Reporting, tracking, and managing of an IPT and responsible for the delivery of procured material from suppliers, through external testing, and shipment to destination
  • Work with other functions to ensure cost estimates and EAC are accurate, processes are followed, and staffing is appropriate for execution
  • Establish material priorities across the Integrated Product Team (IPT) and/or program
  • Provides Supply Chain support for Gates 2-11 activities and ensures Integrated Product Development Program (IPDP) compliance for the programs and tailoring when applicable
  • Act as the Control Account Manager (CAM) and / or support the assigned CAM
  • Prepare and develop material pricing strategy, supplier flow down strategy and supplier negotiation strategy
  • Work with contracts and Supply Chain Advisor to create Contract Flowthrough Brief (CFB)
  • Establish Risk and opportunities and Mitigation plans
  • Working closely with Program Management, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Engineering, Quality, Production Control and Procurement to ensure successful supplier management and execution in supporting program needs and requirements
  • Master Data, MRP Scheduling and Material Sales Forecasting
  • Issue/Conflict resolution within organizations, between organizations and with suppliers
  • Willingness to Travel Domestically/Internationally, as required

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience with SAP/PRISM and the Supply Chain suite of tools
  • EVMS, Earned Value certification
  • Working experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM)
  • Successful history of working on development programs that transition into production (T2P)
  • Experience with developing and analyzing performance metrics as well as experience proactively addressing associated program and functional issues

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
