The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team:
The Sr. HR Assistant, HR Operations - Leave of Absence is a fast-paced position in human resources and requires interactions with external vendors, Human Resource Partners, Managers and Employees. This role is responsible for providing end to end consultative and administrative support to employees as they progress through their leave journey. This includes but is not limited to intaking, interpreting, researching, analyzing, responding to, and escalating inquiries related to a wide variety leave of absence, timekeeping and pay related tasks to complex transactions, and enterprise-wide initiatives. This position is under direct supervision.
What You Will Do
- Provide end to end consultative and administrative support to employees as they progress through their leave journey.
- Process employee benefit forms.
- Provide support to HR Partners and Labor Relations (i.e. Leave of Absence (LOA) inquiries and reporting requests).
- Process leaves of absence transactions in Workday, EV5 or other required systems.
- Manage all information requests in a timely manner.
- Drive teamwork, high quality and continuous improvement environment.
- Attend and have participation in group meetings, teleconferences and/or training required.
- Actively participate in initiatives for continuous improvement using CORE tools.
- Support project management activities.
- Based on business needs, the incumbent may be required to support other duties/functions within the company.
What You Must Have
- HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in HR, administration, or customer service within a corporate environment
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications
- Experience demonstrating knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures in human resources
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.
Qualifications We Prefer
- At least one year of LOA experience
- Previous experience working in a high volume, fast paced environment
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive information and communicate effectively with employees across all organizational levels with appropriate empathy and confidentiality
- Excellent organization, planning and decision-making skills with ability to handle multiple priorities

Hybrid: Employees who are working in hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.
The salary range for this role is 40,000 USD - 70,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
