In Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) we integrate, verify, and validate our products. We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time. To accomplish this we develop plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, develop test environments, and work hand-in-hand with our customers.
- In this role, the engineer works with teams and program management to ensure user or system function properly.
- This includes a detailed understanding the Multi-INT collection orchestration mission, end user intelligence needs and how to apply the system in support of intelligence needs.
- This role requires the engineer to be embedded with the customer and users, with a part time presence at customer locations to ensure operational issues are well understood, and technical solutions/corrective actions are coordinated and implemented expeditiously.

What You Will Do
- Define and conduct system integration tests, including data generation, configuration settings, and test execution
- Collaborate across disciplines and all levels in order to ensure the system operates as designed, and communicate, address and resolve issues.
- Perform system maintenance as needed
- Travel to user and customer locations. Travel not anticipated to exceed 15 %
- Obtain and maintain access as required by program
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a B.S. Degree in Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or STEM degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant engineering work experience OR an advanced degree in STEM and 3 years of Engineering experience.
- Experience System Integration and Test, including: Defining and conducting integration scope
- Experience in Generating test data, configuration settings, and test execution, Communicating status, results, and recovery plans (as applicable) to key internal and/or external stakeholders. Direct interactions with external customers
- Engineering experience with Multi-INT Collection Orchestration missions, Experience in system integration and test for a software system for the US DoD, Experience with Cloud Architectures and deployment requirements for US DoD
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret/SCI security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience in a technical leadership role of a large multi-disciplined engineering team
- Experience in systems Engineering experience with requirements decomposition to Software subsystems, Software use case development and Software feature development.
- Experience with troubleshooting complex S/W systems and develop issue closure plans with coordinated solutions across internal teams and external stakeholders.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
