Raytheon is seeking successful candidate for an MRP Demand Scheduler role within the Advanced Product Center area in McKinney, TX supporting the Advanced Program area. This role will be responsible for Demand Controller activities. The successful candidate will operate in multiple shop floor control and Material Requirement Planning (MRP) related systems to ensure alignment between material position and production schedule.

What You Will Do

  • Evaluating and coordinating program requirements to ensure a controlled flow of materials and services to meet customer requirements.
  • Providing status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed.
  • Working daily to confirm material supply and demands.
  • Preparing work orders for the production of components or parts based on a master production schedule, shop load, and inventory requirements.
  • Working with program support staff to resolve material shortages and other issues impacting product build.
  • Reporting on and troubleshooting MRP system generated exceptions; and taking corrective action on unfavorable trends as necessary.
  • Conducting periodic physical inventory cycle counts and reconciling the system.
  • Schedule and expedite the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers, etc.
  • Performing movement of material to and from the factory, pack/ship (or other area) as needed.
  • This role will work closely with the factory, supply chain and operations teams, to ensure program execution. In this role the ownership and use of metrics will be key to maintain system health and drive the level of performance that will support customer expectations.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree and 5 years prior relevant experience, or advanced degree in a related field and 3 years of prior relevant experience.
  • 5 or more years' experience in a manufacturing facility, manufacturing scheduling, planning, inventory cycle and production control.
  • 5 years' experience using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes and/or software troubleshooting.
  • 5 years' experience using an SAP program.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Power Point)
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • 5 or more years of SAP / PRISM experience
  • Experience with Tableau, Kinaxis, Business Warehouse
  • Material planning and order execution experience.
  • Experience with government contracting requirements

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
