Raytheon is seeking an experienced procurement professional to join the Air & Space Defense Systems (ASDS) procurement team. This position will be within the Engineered Items purchasing team. The selected individual will be responsible for leading procurement efforts in support of multiple programs within the ASDS strategic business unit.

What you will Do:
Perform procurement and supplier management activities in support of U.S. Government and Commercial contracts.
Administer and manage high dollar and complex material and service procurements from both domestic and international suppliers, including cost type and letter subcontracts.
Utilize source selection techniques, compile, and analyze data to perform price analyses, conduct negotiations (including terms and conditions) and identify supplier risks.
Ensure that requirements (prime contract, quality, terms, and conditions) are properly communicated to suppliers and manage supplier performance to cost, schedule, and quality requirements.
Work closely with the program office to identify solutions to sourcing issues that require ingenuity, creativity, and innovation.
Monitor procurement reports and help drive performance to meet company metric targets.
Communicate clearly and be proactive in a very fast-paced environment. Be flexible, innovative, work with speed and agility yet be thorough and compliant with government and Raytheon regulations, while successfully driving tasks to completion.
Assist in the training of peer procurement professionals as needed.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a Bachelor's and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree.
Experience placing purchase orders of low to medium complexity and low to medium dollar values.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer:
DoD procurement experience and working knowledge of Federal Acquisition
Strong negotiation skills - ability to lead formal negotiations and teleconferences (price, schedule, and supplier exceptions to contractual flow down requirements)
Proficiency to perform and comprehend price and cost analysis, source selection/justification, and analysis of supplier quotation.
Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with internal customers and all levels of management.
Demonstrated leadership skills - influence, presence, ability to interface internally and externally with suppliers.
Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.
Excellent time management skills - manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet team performance cadence (purchase requisition/purchase order updates, purchase order placement cycle time, supplier on-time-delivery and other company metrics)
Demonstrated understanding of all phases of sourcing and procurement execution
Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Ability to travel domestically/internationally, if required
Regulations (FAR/DFARS)
Knowledge of import/export regulations (ITAR/EAR)
Experience in international procurements.
Six sigma and productivity improvement experience
Working knowledge of Raytheon systems, processes, and procedures
Level 4 acquisition certification
SAP experience

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
