The Access Control Officer will perform actions and tasking as related to Access Control. Day-to-day duties will include assisting Special Access Program teams with access to secure facilities, as well as assisting new employees with identification (pin) numbers. Additionally, will act as Area Custodian in the Area Management Information System (AMIS). Will also assist with Entry/Exit inspections and escorting. This position will be on site in Tucson, AZ.

What You Will Do

  • Support the team in administering the security procedures (NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07 series, ICD 705, and JSIG), as they relate to operating in a classified environment for: personnel processing, media control, data transfer agent support, marking and control of documents / materials, security education, visitor control, destruction of classified material.
  • Support the implementation of local Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Operations Security (OPSEC) Plans, and proprietary test plans.
  • Understand and implement the media control program in accordance with USG requirements.
  • Support Data Transfers and or hardware transfers.
  • Assist in maintaining a secure facility in accordance with ICD-705.
  • Maintain a visitor control/access control program.
  • Participate in internal reviews and/or Government inspections.
  • Assist in the Investigate security infractions/violations processes and prepare reports specifying the potential for loss or compromise and the associated risk to the program(s).
  • Collaborate and assist the ISSO / ISSM on implementation of cybersecurity requirements.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a university degree in Business Management, Security and/or Risk Management, Government Policy, Information Management, Criminal Justice, or other related field of study and less than 2 years prior relevant experience
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security Secret clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualification We Value

  • Previous direct experience as a security professional supporting SAP and/or SCI programs.
  • Experience with any of the following: NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07 series, JSIG, DAAPM, and/or ICD 705.
  • Demonstrated experience working with access control systems, integrated defense systems, government personnel access systems.
  • Degree major in Business Management, Security and/or Risk Management, Government Policy, Information Management, Criminal Justice, or other related field of study.
  • Completed related training and/or certification with DCSA and/or CDSE (ex. Introduction to SAPs, SPO, SSM, CSM, ICD-705, SFPC, SPSC, PSC, etc.)

The salary range for this role is 53,000 USD - 103,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
