This is a position based near either El Segundo, North Texas, Aurora, Florida or the Northeast. The candidate will be responsible for provisioning, configuration and support of software tools for Engineering use across Raytheon.

What You Will Do
This will be a key team member helping the organization deliver service excellence around the following activities: gaining efficiencies in provisioning Software Engineering applications; helping program teams effectively use Software Engineering tools; installation support and compliance hardening; tool migrations; troubleshooting tool related problems; tailoring tools to specific program needs; supplier engagement for roadmaps and issue resolution; and identifying and documenting Software Engineering Solutions best practices. - Manage deployments, upgrades and support for Software Engineering tools including testing, data backups, compliance, tool integrations & configurations
- Apply technical expertise in Software Engineering to engage with programs on the implementation of Software Engineering solutions
- Deploy desktop Software Engineering solutions to programs
- Identify, document, and champion best practices and improvements which help increase the efficiency of our software deployment and support
- Work with program Engineers to plan and implement migrations off legacy Software Engineering applications to modern tools
- Develop technical solutions to complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years' experience
- Experience supporting software Integrated Development Environments (examples are Eclipse, OpenJDK, SmartBear Collaborator, Visual Studio, etc) and/or SW analysis and test engineering tools (examples are Coverity, SonarQube, Google Test, VectorCAST, etc), or CI/CD desktop tools
- Experience supporting Software Engineering tools in a Windows and/or Linux environment
- Experience scripting/automation and troubleshooting
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience with real-time operating systems and compilers like Green Hills and/or Wind River
- Implementation experience with SCRUM / Lean / Agile / Scaled Agile (SAFe) methodologies
- 3-6 years Program experience in Software Engineering (defense industry)
- Strong communication, presentation, and people skills with ability to interface with senior lead engineers and program management personnel

This role will work primarily Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
