Job Summary

Software full stack developer at Nightwing CODEX directly supporting mission critical needs. We solve complex and critical problems in partnership with mission customers. Develop in an agile environment following the software product lifecycle. Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements. Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features. Debug existing software and correct defects. Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments. Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories. Develop or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards. Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components. Write and review software and system documentation. Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards, confer with users or system engineers; analyze systems flow, data usage and work processes; and investigate problem areas. Serve as team lead at the level appropriate to the software development process being used on any particular project.

Basic Qualifications:

Typically requires bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university and Twenty (20) years' experience as a SWE on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Must have experience with the following technologies: React, Material UI, Typescript, Javascript, Java, AngularJS, HTML5, CSS, webpack, REST Services, Neo4j, Cypher, Maven, Springboot, Tomcat, MongoDB, Docker, AWS.

Must be able to work in a collaborative environment with internal and external stakeholders. Able to communicate and translate technical work to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required prior to start date.

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

The salary range for this role is 130,000 USD - 272,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
