Nightwing is seeking a Software Developer Intern for the summer of 2025, supporting the High Consequence Missions (HCM) business area in Dulles, Virginia. As a Software Developer Intern, you will support full-lifecycle application development, designing, coding and debugging applications in various software languages.

The right candidate will be part of a team supporting full stack development of applications with Salesforce Health Cloud; work closely with IT Project Manager and other Application Developers gaining exposure to design, implementation, and system maintenance with a high level of quality; as well as developing your coding skills on the Salesforce platform. You'll gain hands-on experience in developing cutting-edge software using modern technologies and frameworks. You'll work alongside our talented developers on various aspects of application development, from coding to design, in an environment that values good engineering and customer-centric design.

Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in the development of commercial web applications
- Collaborating with development teams on various projects
- Learning and applying user-centered interaction design principles
- Support full stack development of applications with Salesforce Health Cloud
- Strong desire to learn and improve coding skills
- Familiarity with designing screens, writing and testing code/scripts on the Salesforce platform
Requirements
- Interest in commercial web application development
- Knowledge in at least one object-oriented web framework
- Agile thinker and willingness to collaborate effectively as part of a team
- Motivated to learn new technologies and frameworks
- Understanding of AWS DevOps
- Familiar with JIRA
- Must be enrolled in college by summer of 2025 pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Systems Engineering
- Adept at independent problem-solving and comfortable with a general approach of taking initiative to find and develop solutions
- A strong communicator with others, both written and verbal
- Candidates must be professional, possess a positive attitude, and work well with engineering and technical teams
- GPA of 3.0+ on a 4.0 grade scale
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and willing/able to obtain a U.S. government issued security clearance

The salary range for this role is - . The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
