Raytheon is seeking a highly motivated candidate to serve as The Short-Range Air Defense and Rapid Development Programs (SHORAD + RDP) Program Manager to lead the Next Generation Counter UAS Missile (NGCM) development program. This position will directly report to the SHORAD Product Area Execution Director and is responsible for overseeing the execution of the critical and rapid DoD US Army JUON NGCM program. The NGCM PM will be responsible for leading a cross-functional team to develop and deliver the next generation Counter UAS missile prototype effector for testing with the US Army. The NGCM PM requires both tactical and strategic planning skill sets in a rapid environment with constant change, and action to lead a team of rapid development engineers to the successful delivery of design and prototype hardware. This position requires proficiency in dynamic development problem solving, leading cross functional teams, effective communications, and driving results across a diverse supply base. An optimal candidate will have experience in team building, maintaining and growing customer relationships, improving affordability, and implementing continuous improvement. Additional future responsibilities will be to transition NGCM to a formal Program of Record (DD250) production program

What You Will Do:
- Accountability for profit and loss, AOP, EACs, and financial metrics for NGCM development contract scope.
- Implementation of Requirements & Capabilities win strategy throughout the program and supply base
- Collaborating with Requirements & capabilities, engineering, supply chain, operations, and quality stakeholders to insure development and prototype delivery timelines are achieved.
- Maintain a positive team dynamic and supporting the development of team leaders and members.
- Establishing battle rhythm to reduce program risk, status schedule milestones / critical chain, and brief both internal and external program leadership on progress.
- Establish strong working relationship with USG counterparts, which include the US Army customer and technical teams.
- Supporting proposal activities for follow-on work as required.
- This position will be onsite at the Raytheon Tucson, Arizona or Raytheon Huntsville, Alabama facilities (on-site 3+ days per week and requires about 25% domestic travel)
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Science or Mathematics and 12 years of prior relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and 10 years of relevant experience
- 10 years of experience to include managing LRIP/Production programs that either transitioned or in the process of transitioning to production program
- Experience managing, tracking, and/or reporting through EAC review and customer Program Management Reviews (PMR) or similar metrics
- Experience interfacing with customers and industry partners
- The ability to obtain and maintain a US SECRET security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Program Management Certified Level 5 or Equivalent
- EVMS Certification
- Proven team builder with demonstrated strong leadership, coordination, and people/interpersonal skills
- Excellent presentation and communication skills to senior executives and DoD customer bases
- Excellent record of progressively more responsible leadership roles
- Experience interfacing with the DoD / US Army customer base
- Demonstrated ability to formulate relationships and influence customer requirements

This position is an onsite role, located in Tucson, AZ OR Huntsville, AL
The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
