The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services, Research Center or BBN team:
RTX Enterprise Services Real Estate has an opening for a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor at our Optics CMC site located in Richardson, Texas. The facility is a 117,000 square foot manufacturing site producing optic lenses supporting RTX customer needs.
Primary Responsibilities
- Supervise employees and/or outside contractors, who construct, maintain, and repair utilities systems, buildings, and equipment via one or more of the following trades: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, air conditioning, heating, painting and/or general maintenance, including custodial & grounds.
- Manage and direct all day-to-day activities in support of building operations and customer needs.
- Provide on and off-site direction to mechanical system technicians during regular and off-hours as needed.
- Always present a professional demeanor and appearance
- Manage all work assignments in a safe and professional manner.
- Management of facilities vendors and contractors.
- Assure effective preventive maintenance/corrective maintenance of existing systems.
- Maintain time and attendance system.
- Maintain department Budgets and asset protection record.
- Manage State of Texas required inspections and certifications for site.
Qualifications You Must Have
- This role typically requires a bachelor's degree in Facilities, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or related discipline and at least 5+ years relevant experience. Master's degree with 3 years relevant experience. In rare cases a combination of applicable experience, education/training, licenses and/or certifications in lieu of a degree may be considered.
- At least 3 years' experience in facilities to include a solid knowledge of building management systems and the ability to read blueprints, one-line diagrams and schematics.
- At least 3 years' experience and working knowledge of Microsoft office suite, SAP Prism, SAP Apex, Archibus, and CAD.
- This role requires the ability to work extended hours and overtime to support building and customer needs; nights weekends and on call providing required support and coverage for Emergency 24/7 response
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills and be capable of communicating with customers in a professional office setting, both orally and in writing
- Ability to prioritize tasks to provide a safe productive work environment to the building occupants.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
