As a Scrum Master for Business Applications, you will be working with cross-functional teams to facilitate Agile processes and ensure efficient delivery of products. You will be responsible for coaching team members, removing impediments, and ensuring that Agile principles and Scrum practices are being followed.

What You Will Do

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
  • Coach team members on Agile principles and best practices.
  • Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, architects, and developers to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Remove impediments and resolve conflicts to help the team focus on their work.
  • Track and communicate team progress and metrics.
  • Ensure the team adheres to Scrum practices and maintains a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
  • Assist in backlog grooming and prioritization with product owners.
  • Support the broader organization in understanding and adopting Agile methodologies.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a university degree with 8 years relevant experience
  • Experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role within an Agile environment.
  • Experience with Agile principles and Scrum practices.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience with Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex and ambiguous situations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
  • Experience in a technical or software development environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities effectively.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
