This temporary part-time position of Senior Reliability Analyst will support our Mission Logistics group on a specific program to support special studies, reliability assessments, flight analysis and taking on a mentoring role to improve overall engineering strengths in these areas.

What You Will Do

  • Mentoring employees
  • Making recommendations on missile redesign to include performance specifications as it relates to Test Equipment.
  • Conduct analysis of launch sequence and recommend enhancements to both launcher and missile when performance issues are identified.
  • Develop, coordinates and conduct technical reliability studies and evaluate engineering design concepts and design of experiments (DOE) constructs.
  • Compiles and analyzes performance reports, and relevant variables potentially affecting product and process.
  • Possible development of mathematical models to identify units, batches or processes posing excessive failure risks.
  • May determine units and/or batches requiring environmental testing.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • The ability to independently analyze Flight Data as related to mission performance.
  • Understanding of missile timing from identification of target until intercept
  • Training capability to include technical support, logistics, reliability and explain associated missile impact for any technical abnormalities.
  • Knowledge of reliability issues and corrective actions
  • Detailed knowledge of configuration-specific and customer-specific issues impacting the scope of program recertifications and upgrades
  • A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. US citizenship is required as only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Value:

  • Understanding of EXIM issues to support applications for increase in capabilities OCONUS.
  • Experience in a mentoring capacity to bring engineers up to speed on evaluation of parametric test data and special studies.

This is a temporary position of an undetermined length.
