We are seeking a Program Support Specialist to join our Mission Systems Postwave Operations Department and provide critical support to various New Production Programs Value Stream Leadership (VSL) team based in Coralville, IA. This position will play a pivotal role in supporting the production team across all phases of the program lifecycle, including order, production, and execution of both current and future programs.

As a Program Support Specialist, you will focus on supporting program teams with a range of activities, including internal customer engagement, action item tracking, factory production coordination, and management of customer deliverables. The role will require close coordination with multiple functions within the organization, including Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, Contracts, Order Administration, Quality, and Services, as well as external customer interactions.

What You Will Do

  • Program and Production Support: Provide essential support to programs, including customer support, contract management and production management.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with VSLs to resolve program issues, manage schedules, and ensure objectives are met.
  • Problem Solving & Coordination: Network with internal teams to resolve issues and ensure customer commitments are met.
  • Gate Review & Program Support: Oversee and support gate review processes and other high-level program responsibilities.
  • Deadline Management: Manage hard deadlines, ensuring all necessary approvals are obtained before key milestones.
  • Persistence & Tenacity: Address complex hardware challenges, particularly with circuit card issues, requiring determination to find solutions and make informed decisions.
  • Analysis & Decision Making: Analyze problems thoroughly, offering logical solutions and recommendations for next steps.
  • Coordination & Communication: Ensure all involved parties understand and receive accurate information and manage communication across teams.
  • Customer Focus: Monitor project execution and performance with a strong commitment to meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Proactive Attitude: Demonstrate energy and a positive attitude when working on projects.
  • Judgment & Decision Making: Make informed decisions based on available information, considering alternative actions as necessary.
  • Applying previous technical experience to blend technical expertise, analytical skills, and practical knowledge in optimizing processes and systems.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
