Raytheon Vision Systems is looking for a Senior Production Specialist to join a multi-disciplinary team who has a passion for technology and willingness to learn coating technology and processes in Goleta, CA. You will perform a variety of tasks in support of the optical coating processes, incoming materials inspections, photolithography, demounting and final inspections where you will be expected to perform the processes, maintain chambers, measure critical parameters, and determine/record yield, run, and other data under minimal supervision.

What You Will Do:

  • Clean optics and chambers.
  • PVD and optical preparation and deposition.
  • Perform spectral evaluation and feature dimensional analysis.
  • Performing defect inspection. Perform incoming receiving tests on new material.
  • Perform detailed photolithography and resulting measurement analysis.
  • Provide feedback to engineers when developing new processes.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Minimum 5 years of metal or optical deposition experience.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and rigorous attention to detail
  • Be self-motivated and self-disciplined
  • Have previous experience working in a technical field
  • Understand FOD and FOD reduction methods and concerns
  • Experience working in Excel and inputting data
