The Aftermarket ERP Project Manager, SAP ERP Transformation - Plan to Sustain plays a crucial role in leading and executing enterprise resource planning (ERP) initiatives to optimize business processes and drive operational excellence. This position requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and deep expertise in SAP ERP systems and implementation methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets related to SAP ERP integration.
- Ensure the seamless integration of Aftermarket and other key processes into the new SAP ERP system.
- Communicate effectively with senior leadership on project progress, risks, and key business implications.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with SAP ERP implementation and process transformations.
- Ensure best practices are incorporated into SAP ERP workflows across all RTX business units.
- Lead change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new SAP ERP processes and tools.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within SAP ERP systems.
- Manage vendor relationships to ensure high-quality SAP ERP solutions and services.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards related to SAP ERP implementations.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports to senior leadership.
- Ability to travel up to 30%.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years' experience.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Aftermarket operations, ERP systems, or related fields.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale projects and complex initiatives, particularly in the Aerospace and Defense industry.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and communicate effectively with senior executives, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Proven leadership skills, including team building, conflict resolution, and performance management.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills, with a track record of delivering measurable business outcomes.
- U.S. citizenship is required due to government contractual requirements for financial management system access.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
