The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services, Research Center or BBN team:
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven ERP Project Manager to lead business unit integration within the SAP ERP Transformation - Plan to Sustain (Aftermarket) domain. This role will drive the successful execution of SAP S4/HANA transformation initiatives, with a focus on integrating Aftermarket business processes across multiple RTX business units to optimize operations, improve efficiency, and enhance enterprise-wide data integrity.
As a senior-level ERP Project Manager, you will oversee complex projects, align ERP implementation with strategic business objectives, and facilitate cross-business collaboration to ensure seamless system adoption. This role requires a deep understanding of ERP transformations, Aftermarket operations, and enterprise-wide process integration across a large, matrixed organization.
You will work closely with business leaders, functional teams, and Digital Technology partners to drive transformation roadmaps, mitigate risks, and deliver high-impact results. Your ability to align ERP solutions with Aftermarket business needs while managing cross-business unit dependencies will be critical to the success of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
ERP Business Unit Integration & Transformation Leadership:
- Lead the end-to-end ERP integration strategy for multiple business units within Aftermarket operations.
- Align ERP system capabilities with Aftermarket business processes to ensure seamless SAP S4/HANA adoption.
- Work with executive sponsors, business process owners, and Digital Technology partners to translate business needs into ERP functionality.
- Drive standardization across business units to support enterprise-wide transformation goals.
- Provide leadership in resolving integration challenges, ensuring that cross-functional teams align with transformation roadmaps.
Project Execution & Governance:
- Manage complex ERP transformation projects, ensuring adherence to scope, timeline, and budget.
- Oversee business unit integration workstreams, tracking dependencies, risks, and implementation progress.
- Develop and manage project plans, ensuring seamless collaboration across multiple RTX divisions.
- Partner with Aftermarket operations teams to identify process gaps and implement ERP-driven improvements.
- Ensure project deliverables align with business objectives, compliance requirements, and digital transformation strategies.
Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management:
- Serve as the primary liaison between business units, Digital Technology partners, and enterprise leadership.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration to ensure business teams are engaged and aligned with ERP transformation efforts.
- Develop and execute change management strategies, ensuring successful adoption of new ERP processes across Aftermarket operations.
- Drive training, communication, and stakeholder alignment initiatives to enhance business unit readiness.
Risk Management & Continuous Improvement:
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks impacting ERP integration efforts.
- Implement governance frameworks to ensure ERP solutions align with business unit requirements.
- Work with Digital Technology partners, finance, and operations teams to optimize system configurations and improve business efficiency.
- Utilize data-driven insights to measure transformation impact and support continuous process enhancements.
- Ability to travel up to 20% based on business needs.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Information Systems, and minimum 10 years experience in ERP project management, transformation leadership, or business unit integration, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years related experience
- PMP, Agile, or ERP-related certifications (e.g., SAP S4/HANA certification) are strongly preferred.
- Proven expertise in SAP S4/HANA implementations with a strong focus on Aftermarket business processes.
- Experience leading ERP integration efforts across multiple business units in a complex, global organization.
- Strong background in business process reengineering, digital transformation, and enterprise-wide system deployments.
- Deep knowledge of ERP systems (SAP S4/HANA) and business process optimization.
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills, with the ability to drive collaboration across business units, Digital Technology partners, and executive stakeholders.
- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills in high-complexity environments.
- Ability to influence senior leadership, manage stakeholder expectations, and drive business alignment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical ERP concepts into business impacts.
- Expertise in project management tools (JIRA, Smartsheet, MS Project) and process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
