The Raytheon Logistics Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible for the planning and implementation of continuous improvement taskings and application of CORE. The manager will oversee a team of experienced professionals executing short and long-term strategies for standardization of logistics processes. This role will also focus on the interpretation of logistics data to provide solutions to reduce service level commitments, improve process flows, and gain efficiencies within logistics processes.

What You Will Do:

  • Provide input to hiring, promotions, performance, and rewards decisions for direct reports.
  • Oversee the development of employees to achieve talent and career growth.
  • Lead, direct, and review the work of the team with a level of autonomy in their assignments.
  • Work with RTX Corporate Logistics team members on standardization of service provider metrics and overall data requirements to support the Raytheon business.
  • Be a team player, willing to work in a cross-team environment and across multiple disciplines.
  • Collaborate with RTX and Raytheon Operations & Supply Chain leadership to shape, develop and execute logistics strategies and objectives to achieve cost, quality and schedule goals.
  • Lead CORE/Continuous Improvement culture ad competency improvement across the logistics organization.
  • Partner with Supply Chain and Logistics Execution teams identify, share, and implement best practices.
  • Identify technical solutions and partners with appropriate Raytheon technology owners to provide automated dashboards and platforms for consuming data.
  • Establish logistics metrics and work with operational stakeholders to develop process discipline.
  • Participate in Transportation Service Provider and 3PL warehousing quarterly business reviews to provide input on partner key performance indicators.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risk, particularly in global logistics operations.
  • Drive innovation in logistics processes and technologies to improve efficiency and reduce cost.
  • Lead a team of experienced logistics professionals to influence positive outcomes.
  • Execute problem solving for difficult to moderately complex issues and establish solutions to enhance the overall performance of the job function.
  • Communicate across all levels of the internal organization, and with external stakeholders and/or partners.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Employee management experience to include hiring, performance management and the development of employees.
  • Use of data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
  • Experience in Lean principles and/or implementation of Lean strategies.
  • Minimum 10 years relevant experience working in a logistics role.
  • Experience working in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Typically requires a bachelor's degree and a minimum of ten years relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and seven years relevant experience.
  • Experience within the Aerospace & Defense industry.
  • Experience in stakeholder management, including senior executives, suppliers and customers.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Certifications such as APICS CSCP, CLTD, or PMP.

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
