What You Will Do
- Manage EH&S team of 4.
- Timely support for multiple customers and projects
- Support site injury reduction goals, initiatives, and safety programs
- Interpretation of OSHA, NIOSH, ANSI standards and regulations
- Support Environmental programs and sustainability goals
- Support site with ongoing VPP Star certification requirements
- Analysis of leading and lagging safety performance indicators
- Support incidents to determine causes, learnings and develop corrective actions and track to completion
- Support programs, processes, and procedures to improve EHS culture for employees and contractors
- Deliver EHS training to affected employees
- Provide clear, concise, and effective verbal and written communications and presentation skills
- Have proficient computer skills including the use of Microsoft Office suite of applications for creating and modifying documents and accessing/using the internet
- To be successful this candidate should be well-organized and have excellent attention to detail and thoroughness with accomplishing tasks from inception through completion in a multi-tasking environment
- Be flexible to take on additional assignments

Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
