The following position is to join RTX and the Global Communications team:

Senior Manager, Customer Marketing Strategy

As part of RTX's Global Brand & Marketing Center of Expertise (COE), the Customer Marketing team develops and implements a global customer marketing and experience strategy to build awareness and intimacy for external audiences. The team educates and shapes engagements with customers to support business growth and optimize marketing investments.

What You Will Do

  • Leads RTX's long term customer marketing strategy using campaign alignment and CRM data to optimize marketing investments.
  • Manages and develops a team of customer marketing strategists to support their growth and development.
  • Partners with Communications COEs to develop multi-channel strategies for engaging key external audiences.
  • Understands and upholds RTX brand strategy, guidelines, processes and policy
  • Partners with Communications COEs to identify appropriate metrics to determine objective achievement and develop corresponding dashboards.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with third parties to identify, negotiate and secure customer sponsorship opportunities for RTX in compliance with company policy.
  • Plans, attends, and leverages customer sponsorship benefits and events to deliver results in support of business objectives and as part of campaign alignment.
  • Develops and executes experiential opportunities for customers to engage with RTX brand in innovative and memorable ways.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Public Relations or related field and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 7 years' experience.
  • Experience with aerospace and defense industry, and prior knowledge of strategic approach and process around customer research, sponsorships and marketing execution.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.

This role is also eligible for the Re-Empower Program. The Re-Empower Program helps support talented and committed professionals as they rebuild their capabilities, enhance leadership skills, and continue their professional journey. Over the course of the 14-week program, experienced professionals will gain paid, on-the-job experience, have an opportunity to participate in sessions with leadership, develop personalized plans for success and receive coaching to guide their return-to-work experience. Minimum Program Qualifications

To qualify for the RTX Re-Empower Program, candidates should:

  • Be on a career break of one or more year at time of application
  • Have prior experience in functional area of interest
  • Have interest in returning in either a full-time or part-time position

The salary range for this role is 137,000 USD - 275,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
