The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills and have ability to utilize technical tools to operate and make decisions in a distribution environment. Tasks to be performed will entail researching inventory status, communicating with Programs, Security, Government Furnished Material, production and depot planners, and factory operations. Providing strong organizational management and labor relations experience. Engage appropriate stakeholders to create material distribution improvement opportunities, drive solutions, along with the ability to resolve conflict within a matrix organization. The candidate must think independently, communicate effectively, and provide leadership while working closely with other disciplines.

What You Will Do

  • Coordinate with workforce planning, track employee training, certify timecard and attendance management, create area layout and flow management.
  • Responsible for providing a safe work environment and will actively lead and engage in safety improvements discussions.
  • Assign daily routes, conduct stand up meetings, set priorities and review reports/metrics to locate problem areas and create solutions.
  • Assist with accountability of material from receipt to final delivery and assist with lost/frustrated material.
  • Coordinate Overtime when required, and log/track hours in OTIS.
  • Track vehicle maintenance and schedule services and repairs.
  • Track and maintain CDL driver's requirements as necessary.
  • Clear understanding of hazardous materials classifications
  • Investigate accidents/incidents and prepare RCAS analysis for logistics review boards.
  • Order supplies as required.
  • Execute cycle count and other inventory accuracy requirements to ensure 100% accountability.
  • Data reporting and analysis of daily supply chain activities
  • Develop and execute material flow strategies
  • Manage and achieve labor budget objectives
  • Assist and resolve medium to complex issues associated with purchasing and warehouse management
  • Able to establish and maintain rapport with all levels of personnel, leadership, and customers
  • Drive performance improvement by analyzing metrics and developing plans to achieve organizational goals

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's and a minimum of five (5) years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of three (3) years' experience.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Demonstrated people management/leadership skills, experience engaging large, complicated Teams
  • Proven ability to develop collaborative relationships and influence up, down and/or across organizational lines
  • Previous material accountability experience across multiple projects and conflicting priorities
  • Proven understanding of metrics methods; development/execution of root cause and corrective action plans
  • Experience with MRP systems and / or tools
  • Create and track key performance metrics to drive improvement
  • Supporting operations reviews
  • Demonstrated planning skills for both short-term requirements and long-term opportunities
  • Supervisory experience in matrix organizational structure
  • Experience leading and managing bargaining unit (contract) employees
  • Previous experience working in a cross functional and/or bargaining unit environment
  • Experience working with hazardous materials
  • Understanding of regulations including CFR, DFAR, FAR, ITAR, DoD and DSS Required

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
