What You Will Do
- Manage the design and integration of complex assemblies following Collins's product development process.
- Oversee design for specifications, drawings, and test plans.
- Conduct system and component requirements reviews and compliance assessments.
- Develop and manage project risk and mitigation plans.
- Prepare and deliver detailed presentations for product design reviews.
- Support product verification, certification, and integration into production.
- Lead Root Cause & Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations for field and production engine test component removals.
- Coordinate Class I and Class II engineering changes through Collins and Pratt & Whitney Configuration Control Board processes.
- Collaborate with the Category 1 supplier to complete engineering tasks supporting program and customer milestones.
- Provide project status updates and closure plans to Collins, customer engineering, and program leadership.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

- Strong planning and execution skills, with a track record of successful project completion.
- Experience in managing multiple tasks simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines, and delivering projects within budget.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
