The Tactical Communications Systems Engineering team is seeking a Cyber Engineer who has a passion for innovation and the drive to see new technology and capability matured into fielded solutions. This role will contribute to a team that is responsible for systems and cyber security engineering tasks related to our next generation security enabled Radio Systems and Cryptographic Systems, maturing product from low TRL through program of record accreditation and factory production.

What YOU will do:
- YOU will work closely with a highly motivated and dedicated team of professionals while executing cyber engineering development activities for our Radio and Crypto product line offerings, helping to provide security enabled solutions to our channel facing partners.
- YOU will have the opportunity to participate in the secure systems development lifecycle, including trade study execution, system design, requirements definition, requirements allocation, requirement traceability, systems integration, verification testing and qualification.
- YOU will contribute to the development and cadence of AGILE execution plans that are in compliance with program cost and schedule needs; understand risks and variances and assist in the development of mitigation plans; become 100% involved in the day-to-day program execution.
- YOU will participate in and facilitate Agile team ceremonies, Agile sprint reviews, user story refinement and end of sprint product demos.

Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Experience with secure system design, requirements management, interface definition, integration, and test.
- Experience in Systems Security Engineering process development and deployment.
- Ability to travel up to 10%
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Active U.S. DoD security clearance
- Any DoD 8570.01 IA certifications such as Security+, CISSP, OSCP.
- Recent and relevant experience with the secure systems engineering development process including requirements capture, design, decomposition, integration, verification, and validation.
- Experience with STIGs
- Experience with the NSA Certification process.
- Experience with Risk Management Framework
- Experience using the Atlassian resource suite, specifically: Jira and Confluence

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
