Raytheon is currently recruiting for a Senior Buyer to work onsite in Princeton, New Jersey. This role will be responsible for sourcing/acquisition of direct and indirect services/material. In addition to having responsibility for overall subcontract/supplier management and holding the supplier accountable, specific duties include RFQ/RFP generation, Quote/Proposal Analysis, Negotiations, Documentation write-up, PO generation, PO maintenance, RTV, Sales and expediting/follow-up. This role will work closely with Program MPMs, Engineering, MRPc and Supplier Quality across multiple locations to obtain the right product/service at the right price at the right time.

What You Will Do
- The Senior Buyer will develop and implement strategies for procuring, storing, and distributing goods and services.
- You will select, evaluate and qualify suppliers to meet ISO-9001, ITAR Compliance and Government compliance.
- You will manage the procurement process from requisition to P.O. delivery using SAP ERP system, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- You will resolve delivery/receiving and accounting discrepancies
- You will be responsible for RTV (Return to Vendor) and RMA process.
- You will clarify specifications through Engineering and Quality for materials to be procured.
- You will assist Engineering, Program and Planning in resolving issues regarding new materials, new sources and the establishment of sources for new and existing products.
- You will research and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, generate NDA, LTA/MTA and manage relationships with vendors.
- You will analyze market trends, pricing, and quality of products to ensure the best value for the organization.
- You will collaborate with other departments to forecast demand, plan inventory levels, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- This position does require some domestic travel
Qualification You Must Have
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 2 years of prior procurement or purchasing experience
- Experience with SAP procurement and/or finance systems.
- U.S Citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- MRP, Word, Excel, and PC skills, and a working knowledge of record keeping.
- Experience with offshore procurements in compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
- Working knowledge of FAR and DFAR.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently, work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Track record of cost savings and process improvement initiatives.
- Experience in vendor management, supplier relationship management, score cards, and KPI.

The salary range for this role is 70,000 USD - 142,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
