This is a multi-faceted Security Staff Technician position working within a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. You will help develop, administer, and maintain a comprehensive security program in accordance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM). Your previous experience with processing classified shipments and classified assets as well as your prior experience in conducting security investigations and administrative inquiries will be essential to your success.

What You Will Do:
- Maintain classified document control/accountability of classified media shipped and received. Visitor Access Control, Document Control, Personnel Security, and Security Education
- Perform various employee in-processing/out-processing security briefings/debriefings.
- Prepare and participate in semi-annual and yearly audits and inspections.
- Assist with the implement of local Standard Operating procedures (SOP), Operations Security (OPSEC) Plans, and COMSEC requirements and guidelines.
- Prepare Inquiry Reports on security infractions/violations and specifying preventive action to be taken.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant
experience
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Working knowledge of 32 CFR 117, DoD 5220.22-M (NISPOM) and ISLs.
- Working knowledge of NSA Manual 3-16 and other COMSEC regulations.
- Working knowledge of DISS, submitting VALs, checking incoming visit requirements.
- Working knowledge of Access Commander Security database.
- Knowledge of Resolver Incident Management tracking database.
- Completion of commensurate General and Industrial Security Courses through the CDSE.

The salary range for this role is 36,000 USD - 72,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
